The processor card sets the bus speed... but there is a limit to what the motherboard can handle. My 7600 runs at 45MHz bus speed and 405 MHz (Powerlogic) processor speed. For years it ran at 40 and 366 because that was how the previous owner set it up and I, like a complete patsy, accepted this and was perfectly happy until I thought, "Hey! Just a minute! Why be such an accepting patsy? Why be so happy?" And I upped it all. And I will try to up it again when I have less work. David Elmo PS.
