Two good solutions: 1) peal off the remaining adhesive, including any "tape", clean the machine bottom with a residue-free solvent such as M-E-K (methyl-ethyl-ketone, very hazardous if breathed in a closed environment) apply 3M double-sided self-sticking tape to the foot, install the foot, and 2) same as above, except substitute the application of 3M "Super 77" spray-on contact adhesive for the application of double-sided self-sticking tape. -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
