I have a franken9500. It has a full 1.5 gigs of ram (all 12 slots full), a Sonnet Tempo Trio (Firewire, usb, ide), a Asante 100/10 network card, and a ATI 7000 video card. It's running 10.3.3 using the latesdt beta of Postfacto.

The machine generally works great, except it has been flaking out lately. I have a server which is holding Mp3s that this machine and another access. The server is running Windows 2000, the drive is NTFS. The 9500 is acessing it via Samba.

Anyhow, iTunes tends to freeze the machine a lot. I'm using the built in sound. I had been using an iMic before to do sound, but that didn't really make things better (actually, it seemed to freeze more). Any ideas on this? This iTunes freezing happens if it accesses MP3s locally as well.
