Hi again. So I would like to add a pci usb/firewire
card onto my 7300/(formerly 180 mhz)G4 350 mhz
maxpower implant with os 8.6. Looks like the cards
nowadays on ebay are the usb 2.0/firewire combo cards.
If I remember correctly, the 7300's pci cards are
only capable of supporting 1.x usb. As long as they
are ohci compliant. This is right yes?

Is there any advantage to using the newer cards even
though they are apparantly *overkill*?

Are there any similar restrictions/problems with the
firewire part of the card?

How un/stable are these combo cards?

Your experiences with such cards and solutions to
problems would be welcomed.

Thanks!
Jason
