Can folk give me some idea as to the minimum spec. needed to run iMovie in a 'useful' way?
I've a 7300 with a 350MHz/G4 board running OS 9.2.1, 512 Mb RAM, USB and Firewire boards and a happily working SCSI chain of scanner, Zip drive, CD burner and Ext. HD. I've a non-digital Hi-8 Sony camcorder so realise that I'd need an A>D>A converter - a Miglia Director's Cut possibly? Miglia quote a minimum spec of OS 9.1 and 300MHz for the unit so I exceed that but how happy is iMovie with that? ...and incidentally, where would I likely source a suitable copy of iMovie - eBay? iMovie seems nowadays to be part of the iLife package for OS X and is up to v.4 or so. How flaky are the earlier versions? MTIA Alan G. -- -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
