9500 with Sonnett G3 450mhz
3 gb & 4gb scsi drives
Apple Multi Scan 17" monitor
radeon 7000 mac edition
usb 1 card
Computer was working great before this episode.
I dismantled the beast to add more ram, (removed processor card, video and usb pci cards lowered the mobo and added the ram) reassembled and it appears to start, The green light comes on, the hard drives spin up, the monitor light goes on and then back off again and that is how it stays. I went back in and removed the new ram to see if that was causing the problem but it is still happening.
I have had a similar problem before when the monitor cable was bumped and the card became slighted unseated, but I am certain the video card is seated correctly. I even tried it in another pci slot.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Colin
the only time this happened to me it was the processorcard that needed reseating, does it bong ???
