Some time back it was mentioned that cards with RealTek chipsets work well with Macs.
I found a really cheap card, "CNet PCI fast Ethernet Adapter 10/100 Mbps", in an online Wintel shop, but no mention of Macs. It says it uses the RealTek chipset.
Any of you know if this will work in a Mac, or are there several chipsets from RealTek?
Would it work with OS 9? (seems to me OSX accepts much more hardware stuff without special drivers)
What about the built-in Ethernet port, how does the Mac differentiate between them?
