Hi:

I've got an 7500 running 9.1 that I'm trying to add a
second hard drive to. Both drives are Quantum
Fireball TM.

I've been fooling with the jumpers and not getting
anywhere. I got a pdf from Quantum that mostly
details hows to set the jumpers for master and slave,
but still nothing. Either only the original (master)
slave is recognized or nothing happens at all and
startup hangs at the gray screen, no smiling mac.

Note that I also have questions about the cable. I'd
have to keep trying, but I think one of the connectors
may not be working, but I'm not sure.

But first things first: Does anyone have a nice
straightforward description of how to jumper these
drives so that the system will recognize them?

Thanks,
Nicole
