Greetings, I have an Apple Multiple Scan 14 Display.
Can someone please let me know how to take the display's rear cover (covers top, rear and sides) off? I then just want to put it back on properly. The unit works fine but someone did a hack job putting this thing together. The rear cover is currently on in a manner such that it does not fit into the front crt cover properly. There is a slight chip in the rear plastic in one spot at the top where rear cover meets the front cover. At the chipped point the rear cover plastic, rather than fitting inside the front crt cover plastic, overlaps the front crt cover plastic. There is funky 3 inch long gap where this improper fit is. It's susceptible to very small objects falling in which is one of my concerns. I'd rather take it apart and put it back together again properly than just duct taping it. TIA, stephen ps, please forgive this question on this list. i figure i have the best shot at getting the answer from this list than from any other one i know of. -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
