> I am not sure which of my 2 cards is a genuine TwinTurbo? Apple used an OEM version of the TwinTurbo in the 9600 as the stock card. The Apple version only has a single connector on it (a genuine TT manufactured by IMS or IXMicro has both Apple and PC SVGA). The Apple version uses some different revision of the ROM and/or hardware and will not function with the TT driver. The apple extension "Graphics acceleration for 9600" (or similar name) is used instead and has no control panel to my knowledge. It's present in the 8.0 installer, iirc. Didn't look in 9.1.

Can't remember if there was > anything on scrolling, I'd be pleasantly surprised if it can be speeded up. I'm pretty sure it has somethign to do with accelerating scrolling. I remember installing it, excited that it would accelerate the card slightly, and discovering it was just scrolling or some other aspect of operation, for which I didn't place any importance to accelerating. Scrolling really rings a bell. Dunno. As I said, afaik the driver has issues on 9.x and I generally run BeOS more than MacOS anyway. Anyway, http://www.desktopartist.com/index.htm is the place to be for TT drivers and info... especially the forums. Matt -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
