I have a hybrid 7600. Not long ago I purchased a fast SCSI card, cable,
and a terminator. Today I got an IBM fast-SCSI hard drive.

My question: how does one get the cable from the left side of the interior
to the right side?

The PCI fast SCSI card's connector is on top, so naturally I want to
string the flat cable over the top to the right side.

But doesn't that metal separator in the middle touch the plastic case?

Should I cut two notches in the metal and bend over a cable-wide section
to allow the cable to pass through?

I'm thinking of removing my floppy disk and putting in THREE hard drives
in this case, two on the fast bus, one on the slow one. One of the drives
would go nicely where the floppy drive now is. (I have a USB floppy drive
as a replacement.) Has anyone here done this?

I'm thinking of drilling a hole in the bezel covering the lower hard
drive, and then (somehow) running a fan out the floppy drive hole. Anyone
done this? How does one get power to the new fan?

Sorry for the multitude of questions... but I've been helped in the past,
and appreciate the answers.
