I pretty much scan over all my digest but maybe I missed it.  Has there been
any discussion about his new card coming out?  If so will we see any
performance gain over Radeon 7000 in Older macs like my 9600? Considering
the bus speed of these I have to wonder. I'll probably wait until I see some
real test results.

I heard about this when an ATI rep was on the GamesomeMac a couple of months back. It was mentioned that ATI was considering it. The 9200 is definitely a step up from the 7000 and is based on their R280 core, which is found in the 8500 graphic cards. How much of a performance gain we will see will have to wait for some testing. The limiting factor is definitely going to be the PCI bus getting data to the card. However the card should support higher resolutions in games and/or faster frame rates than the 7000.
