...is all that I hear from a PowerMac 7600/120 when I try to boot it. No video signal, nothing... but a sound of crashing glass.
This Mac is without RAM, and the ROM slot is empty. My question is: this problem is caused just because RAM lacking?
put in RAM and it will work
Or this Mac needs a ROM chip too?
the ROM slot was put there by apple but never used for anything.
