Just to let folk who have been kind enough to reply to this, I deleted out a
lot of NS and Mozilla stuff on my HD and downloaded a fresh copy of 1.3. And
the bookmarks are manageable now. Seems I had too many Mozilla engines,
files and stuff all confusing each other or some corruption? But I am well
pleased today.

Can't see how to be rid of the Mozilla button from the horizontal tollbar
without hiding the bookmarks link? For now I will just hide the tool bar and
use the Mac menu for Favorites, now that they are organised as I want.

As Mozilla is not used by all of us for email and chatting, wonder what can
be chucked off from its extensive files without compromising its browsing
ability? Anyone else using Mozilla 1.3 but not its mail component
interested in comparing notes on how far we can go in file trimming?
