I posted awhile back how the RJ-45 Ethernet port on my 7600 suddenly stopped working. I eliminated the cable and other sources, plugged in an AAUI adapter I had and it worked fine with that.

Today again ethernet just stopped working. I eliminated other causes - it was just my 7600 and just ethernet.

On a whim I disconnected the AAUI adapter and pluged the ethernet cable back into the RJ-45 port that had stopped working previously. Now it was working fine as if nothing had ever happened.

Weird.

I welcome any comments. I probably won't spend a lot of time troubleshooting this because when I get the time I am migrating from the 7600 to a Beige G3 minitower.
