I've set up for both my son and daughter a PM 4400 running OS 9.1 with a
Performa Plus Monitor (640x480). Problem is, my son's monitor display fills
the screen giving a 13in. diagonal image, while my daughter's display only
gives a 12 inch diagonal image, leaving a black border all around the
image. The both Performa Plus's, the montors are not identical. Son's is a
/B model, daughter's is a /D model.

BTW, daughter's machine had an Apple Color Display when the OS was loaded.
I wouldn't think this would make a difference, but...

What do I need to do to get my daughter's monitor to fill the screen like
my son't does?

Bob

some screen that do not have adjustment nobs on the outside you have to open up, take off
the hood and adjust from inside, and since I never done it its not something that I would recomenned.
Some of them were ment to function with that thick black border. Have you switched the screens between
the to performas, that would tell if the problem is in the box or tube.
