Any opinions on monitor filters/anti-glare devices?

Allsop makes one:

Have there been any good consumer products tests on these? Any anecdotal
evidence you'd care to share?

My eyes get tired, staring at my monitors. I'm considering ways of
making this a little easier on me.

Are you concerned with radiation , electromagnetism or just the bright glare ?

Can you accomplish your needs by turning down the brightness. Or do you need
protection from x-rays or other radiation ?
Perhaps a projection monitor ?

I have not seen a filter that did not get in the way of the work and create more eye strain by making the text harder to read.
