Perhaps the adapter? The monitor originally shipped with what I call a 
"straight-through" adapter, no dip switches or dial settings, Apple P/N 590-0993-A.

However, I must admit that adapter was never used. I installed an ATI 
Rage-Orion video card before I got the monitor and never needed the adapter.

LOL, I hope not, I have found it to be a very good monitor. Often customers 
invited into our prepress graphics room see the blueberry Studio Display aside 
the 7500 and ask if we are using an iMac. Perhaps it's time to color 
coordinate and replace the 7500 with a Blue  & White.  --glen (digest mode)
