After having an IDE drive decide to freeze up my 6500 just as the desktop
loaded I tried all sorts of things to get it back working. Here is what
finally did it. I hooked the drive up as a slave on a Windoze box and
reformatted it. Once this was done I popped it back in the Mac which
promptly said "I can't read this, want ME to reformat it?" Well, not
exactly that, but problem solved.
