The thing with that is that it would be using an infrared signal in opposed to a low frequency radio signal that most wireless keyboards use today. The batteries might actually last longer in this configuration. But I personally am still quite happy with an Apple Extended keyboard II. Works without problems... And yes... I can start my computer from it!!!

Finally, using a television
remote interferes with it, and makes the mouse cursor go to the top left >corner.
But I'll bet that is indicative of wireless keyboards...
