Anyhow, I have another issue. I put a belkin usb card(2 port) into the pci slot, so as to hook up a stylewriter 812c via usb. Initially my 8.6 wasn't recognizing the card, so I downloaded the driver from belkin's site. My, does it ever print sloooow.(10 minutes for an average pdf b&w doc.) My laserjet 300 that I still have connected via the serial port refused to print any pdf docs (acrobat 5.0) It complained that it didn't have enough memory. I have not yet tried unplugging one of the printers to see if it makes a difference., hoping one of yous guys could point me in the right direction. Oh yes, my specs. 7300/180 w/ newertech g4-400, 360 mb RAM, 2 g.hd, 8.6.

Yes but which memory ?
I misunderstood the concept until another lister told me to increase free space in the boot partition.
Thjat was the memory needed to get my Lexmark going.
