Two mins of searching on Apple's web site brought me to: http://www.info.apple.com/support/oldersoftwarelist.html#system >I would like to get hold of the British version if possible. The above page is for the american english stuff. Who knows what some more searching will find... >P.S.: I know it's off topic, but a simple yes or no answer I hope is >all that is needed....... Can System 7 run on an SE? http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/mac_classic/stats/mac_se.html Supported MacOS: 2.0-7.5.1, 7.5.3-7.5.5 - Dan. My thanx to everyone who has replied with help. I did try the System 6 heaven site and apple site b4 but without joy. It does seem that a British version never existed, I guess it started with System 7. Thanx too re: the SE info. (Blimey, getting inside one of these has proven a task indeed, but I've done it eventually - after getting the special tool!) PS, My enquiry was PwrMc related, as I wanted to get the data from the SE onto my 7600 and the SE floppy was dodgy, plus System 4.3 would not support LocalTalk, or I couldn't make it work, anyway!
