I had my 9500 apart quite a few times. Of course the first time I snapped one of the little plastic lugs on the mobo retainer frame, but after that it was relatively quick. Not a good design, though. I never had to play with the PCI slots, but the base shielding always caught on the case and made it difficult to seat.


The 9600 is a great design, though access to the power connections etc of the front drive bays could be better... but it's better to work on than a B&W.

With the B&W you have to be really careful with the modem ribbon... install it twisted, so that it doesn't get caught in the door on closing (don't ask...).
