Well i think i caused the code 127 because of all the messying around i've
been doing with my 8500. I think it just decided it had, had enough :)

I'm actually going to try and install a larger HDD. At the moment i have
standard 2gb SCSI as my main drive. And an ultra SCSI 8GB as my  secondary.
Tell you, that was a cow to install, as i had to fit the ultra scsi to
normal scsi adapter to the back of the 8gb. And there isn't an awful lot of
room inside an quadra style case.

As i don't have norton or disk warrior, i think i fresh install will be in
order. Plus i think it will be best, setting it all up with the new CPU
installed.

OK. That would fix the error 127 IF you did a clean install. But you may be
able to fix that with a Norton or Disk Warrior and not have to reinstall the
operating system.

I'd try that first.

If you DO a new install, do it with the new CPU in place.
