After the
initial chime, I got absolutely nothing. No HD spinning, nothing.
Can someone on the list speculate what the problem is?

Lucky you.

Your half-Double-A PRAM batter is probavly dead. Is there any RAM or a HD in the beast
?

Daystar Genesis MP computers have the same Tsunami motherboard in them as the 9500 and
the early (pre-300 MHz) 9600 powerMacs.

On the Daystar site you can downloasd a step-by-step troubleshooting guide that
describes which components to remove and re-install in what order to verify the
various components of all of the Tsunami-based computers and narrow the possible
suspects.
