Thanks Scott. A gentleman called Henry Harrison recently and kindly put me onto some software from BTV which seems to be a more fully functional and stable alternative to AVP. It looks to be very good and my trials show quite a lot of stability with my OS 9. There are compression and editing facilities and all sorts of stuff.
