Hate 9.x - so slow. Much prefer 8.6 if I need a fairly modern Classic MacOS.

I've got a 9500 running 9.1. I put a PowerLogix G3 CPU in it. It runs at 287mhz.
and, because I like iTunes, and a lot else about OS9, it's the OS of my choice.
It does very respectably with that setup.
