Greetings all you experts --

I've got a 7600 with a PCI USB card that has worked perfectly for better
than two years now. But the computer was getting flakier all the time, so
last week I wiped the drive and reinstalled OS 8.6. No problems, flakiness
seems to be a thing of the past, with the single exception of the USB
connection which no longer functions, meaning no scanner and no camera. Not
only do either of these peripherals function, the camera software won't even
open: it gives an error message "USBManagerLib not found" which does seem
like a pretty good hint of what's wrong -- but I can't find this file
anywhere.

What can I do to get back in business?

TIA,

Best,
Victoria

Go download the driver that's found here:

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=31132

It will probably fix the USB dilemma.
