I was always afraid that I was going to damage the
"Catalyst" systems I 
owned by putting in EDO dimms. I get my memory the
same way I get my 
computers, by scavenging. The result was that
sometimes I had no clue if 
my dimms were FPM or EDO. So if I came up with a 168
pin dimm I put it 
in my Mac and asked questions later!

Yeah, that's the only real qualm I have about my
beloved PowerCenter/Pro's....been pretty lucky so far.
 I think I can sleep easier now that I have a 7200/90
that I can pop DIMMs into for testing.
