Hello,

I installed 10.3 on a beige using xpostfacto and have been running with 10.3.5 for some time. I felt like living on the edge and installed 10.3.6 and all the latest updates. Boot up is no longer completing, I booted up in verbose mode and the system halts on the following.

"IOAudioControl[0x19af100]::setValue(0x19b5560) - Error 0xe00002bc received from driver - value not set!"

I've tried putting the old processor in the machine but it doesn't seem to want to boot with the old processor. The green light in the front doesn't light up, the fan moves but no power is even going to the CD drive ( it won't open)"

With the upgrade processor I can boot into OS 9 by holding down Option+Command but I can't figure out how to do a resinstall of OS X. OS X was installed with the original processor but the system no longer boot with that.

Any ideas?
