@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ I tried for some time to make an ADB KVM work with a B&W G3 (OS X), a 9600 G4 (OS 9.2.2), and a IIfx (OS 8.6?). I couldn't ever seem to get the video thru the switch. I eventually gave up on the IIfx as I had doubts that it's video card could drive the big monitor I wanted to use. I still couldn't make it work with just the two remaining machines. Because of a mixture of Mac and SVGA I had to use video cable adapters, and these I don't have much faith in. I finally (just recently) opted to go for a USB KVM. It went together easily, worked beautifully, and hasn't given me a moments trouble since. I highly recommend it.
