Thank you Patrick, excellent, yes, "remote status access" is what I wanted, I have now made an alias for it and it is on desktop for easy access (I have never fancied the control strip and disable it, it is a sneaky little strip and even collapsed, leaves this little tab that sort of unbalances the sheer beauty of my desktop. Even key commanding this little bit away is not far enough away for me - I still know it is lurking, demanding to be brought to life, ... must talk to my shrink later today about this...) Another thing, in FreePPP there was a setting to enable a program (like my email) to open when a connection was established on-line... Is there a setting to do the same using Remote Access, I have looked at the Internet Control Panel and Remote Access one and see nothing for this? Must I make an applescript?
