As for drilling holes, the case is not so hard, putting aside a blast from
an oxy-torch (quick and rough but something that would have to tempt a
feller...) either a hole saw (probably expensive) or just any old small
drill bit (the newer and sharper the better of course) and you drill many
holes on a marked circle till you can yank the bit out, there are rubber
grommets for holes that will cover the rough bits, or you can file them or
put in what you will and fill with silicon or whatever.


Dremels have been a favorite of the case modding community for ages. If you can get your hands on one of those, you're pretty much set for anything. I've never used one but I hear they're quintessential.
