Yea, Apple's System Profiler sucks when it comes to showing accurate info on the non-OEM daughtercards. I've never had it report the correct speed on any of the upgrade cards I have used. There's an freeware app from NewerTech called GuagePro that works well and gives accurate readings. And most of the G3/4 upgrade cards have software that shows the correct CPU speed also, but ASP is notoriously incorrect at calculating the info.
