I found a page at xlr8yourmac.com (which I can't seem to bring up at the
moment, for some reason) which shows a step-by-step tutorial of how to
replace the CD drive in the 9600. By looking at that I see that I was being
confused by the bezel and that the drive is really no different than any
other drive as to size. I'm going to put it in this morning and I'll let you
know how it goes.

BTW, the upgrade from OS 8.6 to 9.1 went swimmingly, and after I get this
Optical drive in I can start transferring files and then transfer the Sonnet
board.

I'll reply about the PTP200 issue in another post.
