Hello,

I have an AppleVision 1710 connected to a PowerMac 6500/275 and it looks great, especially when watching TV except when the screen is displaying something bright or white, it shows spirals and strange lines on the sides. I read on Apple that this is normal of the Trinitron tubes, and can be caused by an incorrect color calibration, but I have not been able to fix it. It is hooked up to the ADB. I am currently running OS 8, and the Monitors Control Panel does display the correct monitor name. It becomes very evident when I turn the brightness up, even to half. I turned it down to the lowest as it looks the best, but it gets the problem again if something bright is displayed. Any suggestions? Thanks.
