Charlie Reyes wrote that he has had experieince with virtually the same set up as myself. His problem was cable problem. Mine is not. Mine burns CD-R's always but cannot even get disc info for the HP CD-RW 4x - 12x I inserted. I want to ask you about Charlie, now that your cable problem is fixed, can you burn CD-RW's as well as CD-R's. If you can then I suspect that my problem is the version 5.0.1 of Toast I am using,, as opposed to your version which is 5.2.1.
