Looking at OS 9.1 prices right now, not really interested in buying at the moment, but for $26.99 on eBay, some guy's got Power Mac G4 CD's. Does the installer on __[insert system name here]__ discs check to make sure you've got that particular system or will it work on any Mac that supports 9.1, say, my trusty 8500?
