Ric, Firstly, Mozilla 1.3.1 will run on 8.6 (the WaMCom version)... I used to use Netscrape 4.8, but dumped it last year, when I found that Mozilla worked so much better. Except for one thing. Newsgroups. Otherwise, it's much better. You might consider downloading OS9 Helper, then use the 9.2.1 and 9.2.2 updates to get up to MacOS 9.2.2 on your PTP... That way, you at least have the version of MacOS 9 used in the Classic environment of MacOS X. -J
