Hi Folks,

Is there something special about zapping the pram on a 9600 with a Sonnet G4
400 card? I did the (I thought) normal cmd-opt-p-r routine and got the most
awful sounds -- thought I'd cooked and destroyed everything. Fortunately
after three attempts to restart, it did (thank you computer gods), but I'm
left wondering why and how does one zap the pram on this machine?

_______________

A good old battery pull is very assuring. easy on a 9600.
But the key presses should work.

What sounds? Probably just the OS checking drives etc.

If you have added or subtracted hardware a CUDA press is in order also.
