>>Subject: Turning off 5500 screen while running application

I'm a bit of a Mac newbie, and would like to know if there is a utility to allow you to turn off the video on a 5500 while you are running an application... I run streaming audio on one of my 5500s and

hate to have the screen sitting there running full tilt showing a
whole lot of nothing going on. I know, I should just get my Quadra
online and use it, but I'm running out of desk!

Thanks!

I have a 5500/400 MHz. In OS 9.X.x, you go to the Energy Conservation Panel, open the first tab, press the Show Details button, and check the Specific time for the Screen to sleep.
Very easy.
Best regards.
