Hi,

I'm new here...

Question...

Can I use a PC RAM (64MB DIMM) in a Power Mac 8500/8600? I looked at the PC
DIMM (SDRAM?) and (also a Mac G3 DIMM) and the two notches in it are
slightly off from my PM 8500's DIMM... so it just wont fit snuggly into my
PM.

I was thinking of shaving off the PC notches to make it wider so it will fit
snug into the Mac's DIMM slot...

Will this work?

Please reply directly to me, if possible.

Thanks
Andrew
