You will need an adapter to mate it to the 7500's ribbon cable. I have gotten these at Fry's (www.outpost.com).
If you intend to install this drive as the only internal drive, then no jumpers installed usually means ID0, which is usual for a single internal Mac drive. If it is in addition to another drive, then you will need to install a jumper to set the ID to something other than 0 or 7.
