If I may suggest...

Two weeks ago I picked up locally a 500 MHz Sawtooth
G4 AGP Graphics tower, one of the last ones made, from
Spring 2000, with the AGP Rage Pro AGP video, 27-gig
HD, SCSI card, and 512 Megs PC100 RAM, DVD-RAM drive,
and it will accept an airport card of some sort.

It cost about the same as the G3 B&W towers do now and
I am absolutely delighted with it. There are several
non-upgradable 1000 MHz G4s (eMac and iBook) on the
same network but they are no fun and my daughters
monopolise them.

Just think: All too soon there will be G5 and G6 Macs
everywhere and our beloved upgraded 604e PowerMacs
with spiffy G3 and G4 PCI Sonnet cards in them will
have all of the desirability of the Quadra 950 or
840av models and then attendance in this List will
taper off to a mere dribble and I for one will miss
it.
