I've been using a PowerTower Pro 225 with a Sonnet Crescendo G3/450/1M and a
Sonnet Tempo ATA 133 card for over a year now. It has two ATA hard drives and
one SCSI. It also has an old SCSI CD-ROM and an ATA CD-RW.

I just came into possession of a Power Macintosh 9600/200 with a MAXpowr
G3/500/1M card and lots of other useful stuff.

Without going into detail about all the other stuff in the two computers, I'd
like to know if there's any good reason to switch my drives, etc., to the 9600
box. Are there even enough drive bays in the 9600?

The only advantage I've noticed of the 9600 is that it holds more RAM (12
DIMMs, 1.5 GB vs. 8 DIMMs, 1 GB for the PTP. Are there any others?

BTW, I'm presuming that both the 9600 and the PTP are better than the UMAX S900
that I also have, because of the quirkiness of the PCI bus in the latter. True?

P.S. I have other questions to ask, but they're only tangentially related to
what I'm asking here, so I'll deal with them in separate posts.

P.P.S. Please, if possible, Cc any responses to me personally so I don't miss
them!
