what happens if you remove the dlink card ? and do you have the 2
needed ethernet extensions ? (apple enet and apple built in ethernet)
and are they loaded or disabled in the extension manager - ? what
happened to the cd ?
I was planning on downloading it to my linux box. but I can boot to
windows if need be
I'm having trouble getting the network to work on the mac end of it.
It will not grab an IP addy form a cable which works fine in my pc.
(its connected to my router on the other end acting as a DHCP server.)
It just generates its on IP when I tell it to use DHCP on the mac.
Now Thats using the built in NIC. I also have a dlink card installed.
But as far as I can tell no drivers enabled for it.

My first question is: How do you plan to do ANY download? How is the
machine that you plan to do the download with connected to the Internet?
Why not just connect the 7600 to that jack and do the download direct?
