>I have a dilemma. I'm trying to mount a second drive
on my 7600. The drive does not show up on the desk
top. However, if I mount the drive alone and start
from the cd (OS 9.0.4) it shows up as untitled. How
can I make it show up since I do want to transfer the
files from the first drive to this second drive.

do you have the program disk first aid or norton disk doctor ?

Make sure the SCSI IDs are unique.

"Untitled" means the drive has been successfully initialized by Drive
Setup.

it can also mean that the mac can not read what is on it anymore
