And my Apple-supplier, just around the corner, sells the Acard "Big Claw", AEC-6260M (PCI Ultra ATA 66 adapter for Macintosh) for € 15 (= ± US$ 18), new in sealed box. Has 2 EIDE connectors with 2 independent bandwith channel each. Last week I bought 4 of these. For a beige G3/266/DT, a PM9500/G3/300 and a PM 8500/120. Has Plug n Play support and no hassle with formatting. Nr. 4 I have send to a friend in the middle of no-where in Denmark. Some suppliers on our 3-monthly Apple-fair (next: Nov. 26) sells these for around the same price and a few will even send Eur/world-wide. Just for your info. Jo Hissel.
