Check the machine for other installed software, that may require a code.  
Whether you reformat, or just reinstall the system software, 3rd party software 
may need reinstalling also.  Actually, QuickTime Pro may need reinstalling, 
too, if the client has that...

...Its good to think ahead in this situation.  Take a drive image of it, too, 
just in case.
