Important to note: the 7600/200 was the only 7600 model that had matching motherboard specs to the 7500. The 120 and 132 models had slower bus speeds than the 7500, so you should look into what was originally in your 7600. If I were a betting man, I'd simply get a 7500 and if need be put the parts I need in to it, rather than search for the right 7600. My 7500 runs on a 200 mHz 604e right now, but has also run on a 200 mHz dual processor 604e.

Depends on what you plan to do with it and what processor is in the machine.

The 7300 generally has the fastest stock processor: 166, 180, and 200 MHz. The 7600 shipped with 100, 120 and 200 MHz. The 7500 only had the 100 MHz 604
processor. The faster 200 MHz processors are likely the 604e's.

However, the 7500/7600 has more A/V support. Both have RCA type jacks for
Audio L-R in/out. As well as video in. They also have S-Video in.

Apple did away with this A/V module on the 7300. The 7300 only has sound
in/out mini-stereo jacks and no video in.

I would prefer either the 7500 or the 7600 with at least the 200 MHz 604e daughter card (usually available on the Swap List for $5-15) or better yet a G3
upgrade which are usually selling in the $50 range.

A 7500 with a 200 MHz 604e played well with my stereo amp and turntable for converting old LP's to CD's and also for listening to my iTunes music library
in days past. I may dust if off again for another tour of duty.

Just my 2 cents. --glen
